Audi RNS-E DVD Navigation Systems:
These are DVD based naviagtion systems for the Audi A3, A4 and A6's.
VW MFD and MFD2 Navigation Systems:
These are cd-rom based navigation systems for the VW Golfs, Jettas IV's and Passats B5's, I am not currently importing the newer DVD based systems, but will let customers know as soon as I have them. There are two generations of systems. MFD is the first generation system. It fits virtually all Mark IV Golf and Jettas and B5 and B5.5 Passats.
The current generation of Rabbits, Golfs, Jettas Mark V and PassatsRM B6 use what is commonly called the MFD2 Navigation System. Currently the only European Navigation Systems which can work int he United States are the CD-ROM based systems. I've tried various European DVD based systems and none fully work. The critical short coming is an address cannot be directly input into a European DVD based MFD2 system. So be careful! Virtually every seller on ebay who is selling this system in the United States, is someone from Europe who has no idea what they are selling and that this system will not work. A very expensive potential lesson for the newbie.
What you need to know about all units:
All systems are used, but fully tested prior to shipment to you. By purchasing a used system imported from Europe you literally save $1000's of dollars over what a replacement system would cost if bought new from the local dealership. All systems are upgraded to US specifications, so they act in every way like a US system. That means you have the ability to hook a Sat Tuner (if applicable) up and all other factory options offered by Audi and VW. I only sell complete systems. They will include all adapters, radio removal tools and a US and Canadian DVD and or CD-ROM's I am not a newbie to selling these units or Internet commerce. Installation instructions, I will point you to various websites where I have dozens of past customers who have taken the time to document their personal installations. On line installation support, sorry see above. Factory warranty, all units are tested prior to shipment from Germany and again before I ship to you. I fully insure each item, however given the complexity of the installation and the nature of this product, all items are sold "AS-IS"
